64 Swing Sequence Tutorial is based on the idea of constant change, which is mixed with a never-ending repeat, the repeats are double straight arm front circles. Once you swing a double front circle you follow by swinging the same front circle with one arm and a different circle with the other, starting with an upper back circle, side wrist circle, cross body shoulder circle and finally a lower back circle.

Complete swing sequence…

There are four parts to the 64 Swing Sequence Tutorial. Part one is swung OUTWARD, part two is swung PARALLEL RIGHT, part three is swung INWARD, part four is swung PARALLEL LEFT. (32 swings)

Then repeat in reverse…

For the purposes of this video…

For the purposes of this video, I have changed my leading arm halfway through from left to right. Normally I would swing this sequence leading with my left for a count of 32, and then reverse the sequence for a count of 32 leading with my right, ending up where I started.

One of the hardest challenges is to make sure that you are ready for the right grip changes for each of these circles.

You will probably notice that I go out of sequence with my leading arm on the lower back circles, I’m still working on getting that under control.
