I am rehabbing my shoulders after a c3 to c7 operation. My research indicated that Indian club swinging would be brnifical with light clubs. I purchased 2 lbs and I have noticed an improvement in five days.
The Dvd that comes with the clubs gives miminum training techniques. Do you have an instructional Dvd that breaks it down. It is difficult to follow you sometimes because I’m unable to break it down. Any help is appreciated. Oh, by the way I’m 69 years of age. Move like I’m 50. ? Thank you again for any help.

      Hi Robert,
Thank you for your email. Please accept my best wishes for your rehabilitation.
It’s great that you have bought 2lb clubs, and that you have seen an improvement. It may be an idea to also purchase a 1lb pair of clubs. You may be asking yourself why? The reason is that when you start working on more complex movements and generally exploring, a lighter club can be of huge benefit as you can go through the motions and then migrate back to the heavier club. This is just a suggestion but in my opinion well worth considering. The other club you may want to look at is a three pounder, but that’s much further down the track. I’m only talking wooden clubs here.

Have you seen my website called Indian Clubs Academy? I have a free course available at this site aimed for beginners, where you will learn basic movements and how to put them together into a routine.
      Here is the link:- http://www.indianclubsacademy.com/

In the meantime, I’m working on a fully blown online course, which I hope to publish later this year.

Please feel free to ask questions in the meantime, as I quite often make more replies in the form of videos to publish on youtube.

You at 69, and me at 67 is only two years difference, but I think you will find an ongoing interest in club swinging as I have over the last nine years. I have found myself completely consumed with variations both orchestrated and unexpected, which is great fun and a total delight. And I hope that you find the same fascination with swinging Indian Clubs.
