Four Camera Angles

Thought it may be helpful to record a 10 Minute Gada Mace Swing with four camera angles for potential contestants in the Texas Kettlebell Sport Classic, Vintage Strength Competition and any other competitions that will appear in the future.

Full 10 Minute Gada Mace Swing in each Video

My plan is to show and demonstrate the full 10 Minute Gada Mace Swing for each camera angle, so you can focus on the detail in each view. You will notice that my swing will vary as I settle and focus on smooth movements getting into the groove.

There are four videos

1. Front View – Front pull down to the navel with a loose grip, keep handle close to the body and breathe out. Push up, which gives the Gada head elevation and therefore a faster descent, tighten the grip and inhale through your nose. Correct breathing has a calming effect on your performance in a competition.

2. Side View – Gada head sweeps close to the body behind you which preserves energy for a long swing, also focus on full triceps extension to avoid elbow damage.

3. Back View – Triceps extension so that your lowest hand reaches the nape of your neck at the centre of the swing, you must use a loose grip. Avoid the death grip at all costs.

4. Drone View – Transverse rotation of the shoulders and thoracic spine, hips facing forward.
